"Thanks, same. I'm pretty shy, so thanks for inviting me over. I think I've seen you in school before." Bris answered.
Yris nodded after a quick recollection of the last few days, noting that she had in fact seen her at school, even in her classes a few times, before finally explaining "Yeah, I've seen you in some of my classes. And no worries, I wanted to sit with someone and you seemed nice, so I wanted to get something to eat with you."

Taylor looked up from her phone, Mapleshade glaring at her from a booth. She looked at the girl who had stepped in."Hi."She greeted her, smiling."All the seats are pretty much full, you can sit with me if you like."

Good thing she came here after the 'drama' or else I'd be dragging her out of a fight, Camilla thought as she saw Bleddyn walk in.
She almost waved her over, then noticed the girl talking to her, and she decided against it, if Bleddyn accepted, it would do her some good to talk to someone other than Camilla or her parents.
Bleddyn snapped alert and looked over the girl who'd addressed her, still maintaining her distance. She seemed decent enough- decent meaning not seemingly driven by interior motives. She wasn't tall enough to be threatening, and her casual stance supported her likability.
Additionally, Bleddyn couldn't pinpoint her face as a member of the overpopulation of her picked antagonists, so that worked in everybody's favor.
Bleddyn slid into the booth seat opposite of the amicable redhead, keeping eye contact casual enough to go either way. "Cool, thanks." She settled down into the cushy booth, giving an unnoticeable bounce of satisfaction. It concaved perfectly beneath her bottom, and there weren't enough rips in the fallible vinyl to be irritating yet.
"Bleddyn."
Finding her end of the introduction to be sufficiently fulfilled, Bleddyn slumped back against the booth and let her eyes roam leisurely.

"Okay. I already ordered chocolate chip pancakes, but hopefully our food'll come out at about the same time," she replied.
(Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner! And sorry for the short reply. My creative juices aren't flowing very strongly today... :) )

"Taylor, nice to meet you."She greeted her with a warm green gaze. A sharp growl from beside her made her head turn. It was the blue eyed boy again."Do you know him?"She asked Bleddyn quietly."He's been snapping at everyone all morning."

Wolfram was trembling."Just leave me alone, All of you!"He growled."I can't help that I'm irritated, I can't help that I'm upset! You would feel the same if you came home to find your mother dead!"
For some reason, this just angered me more. I could feel my face heating up, and the little voice in my head that told me not to do stupid stuff was getting nervous. "I'm sorry, would you like some cheese with that whine?" Someone said who was definitely not me. No way I would have said that. Nuh-uh.

But I had.

I could feel eyes on me now, and felt myself start to sweat. A small crowd had gathered around the table, and were already taking sides. His side, no less.

Oh, please, Delilah. Have some sympathy for once in your life. Care, dangit, care!

But care I did not. "How long ago did that happen? A year ago? Two? Did you come here to eat or run your stupid mouth?"

Wolfram shot up, trembling in rage again."You are a idiot!"He snarled. A whirl-wind of chaos stormed inside him. Yet a small part of him was impressed that she was still talking."I came home last night and she was dead! Someone broke in, killed her and took every valuable item in my home!"He just suddenly gave up. He Wasnt trying to be brave anymore. His words came out like a whimper."But why should you care? It's none of your business."

Bleddyn's wandering eyes snapped to the offender and rapidly evaluated him. Almost immediately, she summed him up to be of no threat to her personally- too uncomfortable in his own skin. Actually, it was obvious he'd rather be anywhere but here.
"Creepy eyes," she noted aloud in a tone half-reverent, half-distrustful, more to herself than her companion. "Don't know him, though." She didn't turn as she addressed Taylor, far too fixated on the boy's disturbing pupils.

Bleddyn sat up straighter as Delilah let her attitude overtake her good sense. Bleddyn had seen the latter become more and more subordinate over the years they'd known each other, and recently, it seemed to have gone mute. Gage's daughter wasn't one to pick fights intentionally, but when something agitated her just enough, she'd fire out instigations that she'd regret later.
Judging by the contortions the boy's face was going through, Delilah was hitting all the wrong nerves. His neck bulged, a sure forewarning of looming eruption.
"This is about to get spicy."
Bleddyn shoved herself out of the booth and rapidly strode toward the confrontation, her hands coming together in an automatic clasp of anticipation.

What is she doing? I just got this jerk to shut up! "Guys, come on..." Lachlan said, though it was more of a sigh.

Wolfram looked up to see the newcomer. His pupils became normal, large and round, then snapped ack to thin slits. He eyed warily, letting out a half hearted hissing noise.
