«We Could Be Legends»

Wolfram tossed the keys to Lachlan, opening the door to Bleddyn and Sherri's cell. Ignoring the idiotic cat girl. He walked towards Bleddyn, holding out his hand."I know you would like to rip my throat out right now, but it's not the right time. Just let me help you, alright?"
Zion flinches at the harsh words

An alarm blares the second the door opens

(Have fun with that ;) )
Zion almost jumped out of his skin the moment the alarms start to blare
He looks at Lachlan with immense panic in his eyes to let him out.
"We have to go guys!"

Misty shifted into her human form, her hair a soaking matted mess. She shook the water off herself from her head to her tail and then looked at River worriedly, pinning her ears flat against her skull.
"What the hell is going on?"
Something dropped in her stomach.
"Where are Delilah and Zion?" She said softly
River huffed as Misty shifted. Jokes on me. She turned to a human, shoving her ears forward confidently. "Long story. Ever heard of humans called Pure? Bunch of them jumped Lachlan and some of his friends yesterday. They wanted some kind of... Key. Fast forward they broke into me house earlier, knocked me out and kidnapped Lachlan, his friend Wolfram, Sherri, and Bleddyn. We're getting them back." She muttered. "Delilah and Zion? No clue, haven't seen them, they weren't at the park or my house with everyone yesterday, nor have I seen them today." She said, rushing because of the fact of where they were.

Zion sighs but his panic isnt going to be lifted just yet.
"Lachlan! Somethings wrong with Delilah. We need to help her!"
He glances at his sister and strokes her soft fur, his worry eating him away more and more.

Lachlan's gut twisted at the alarm. He shoved the keys in the lock, checking two before the third worked, and he jerked the door open. "There. Bleddyn is hurt, too." He said, and rushed back over to Sherri, Bleddyn, and Wolfram.

Alpha's ears twitched from Misty barking. Toby was trying to listen for the Pure, so when Misty and River suddenly broke the silence he jumped. Oh my gosh stop flinching and jumping! He thought. He watched as the wolves seemed to be talking to each other. I wonder if Alpha can understand them.
Misty glanced at Alpha and Toby then turned her attention back to River

"No Ive never heard of them, but from what you're saying they seem like the group we fought back in the days."
Misty lashed her tail in anger and gritted her teeth once River told her she had no idea where Misty's children were.
Misty slammed her fist against the cement wall of the tunnel, blood sprayed from her knuckles and dripped down her hand.
She looked at River and licked the blood from her hand, baring her fangs in anger. "Alright lets go," she sad while stepping beside River and through the group of children up to the front of the group. She looked back at River, "just like old times eh?" She smirked, blood seeping through her fingers.

Lachlan couldn't help but grin, he watched as Wolfram tried different keys as silently as possible in the lock before finding the right one. "Sherri, be quiet." He whispered, suddenly aware of her chatter. "There's a guard." His eyes flicked to Bleddyn. "Can you stand?"

Lachlan's head snapped around. "I know that voice..." ...Zion! He crept over to the corner, glancing around it. The guard was going to a cell, which held a distraught Zion and unconscious Fox-Delilah, the guard's hand reached for his radio. No! Lachlan thought. If he calls someone and they come they could spot us!
Lachlan rushed forward, punching the guard in the side of the face, and grabbing the man's dart gun with his other hand, pulling the trigger.
The man fell unconscious with a thud. "Whoa..." Did I just... Do that?
"Did you just..." Sherri asked. She realized she had the choice to escape now, and the choice scared her.
"What if they catch us in the hall? What if they keys on the ground were a test?" She whispered.
Her ears flipped. "Alarms! Someone sounded the alarms!"

~~~
Meanwhile, Indigo walked toward the entrance, quietly, flicking off the flashlight. "Someone triggered the alarms!" She hissed. "Be best if I negotiate."
Wolfram looked over at her, flicking his ears in confusion. He shifted, leaning against the bars of the cell, the shifting having drained his energy. He ignored Bleddyn's words, sighing softly. He fumbled with the keys, none of them fitting the key hole. One key left. He prayed the last key would fit. Teeth gritting in frustration, his heart started pounding. They where running out of time, guards or worse, Mapleshade could come any minute. He shoved the key into the hole, triumph lighting up his eyes as the key fit."Yes!"He gasped, twisting the key, and the door unlocked.
Lachlan came into Zion's line of sight, come up to the bars of the cell, flicking his eyes over Zion and Delilah. "It's me, Lachlan." He said to Zion. "Wolfram, when your done with those keys, I could use them." He called as quietly as he could to his friend.
Zion sighs but his panic isnt going to be lifted just yet.
"We have to go guys!"
Bleddyn backed up onto her cot as the air shattered with a wailing alarm, shaking her head. "Again, leave me be," she barked at Wolfram as he approached her, her voice low and dangerous. She flinched as her back pressed up against hard wall. "I can do this myself."
She leaned against the wall and brought her knees to her chest. She slowly straightened up, wobbling precariously on top of the makeshift bed. If you think you can do this...
Using her arm as a pivot, she bent back down and swung herself onto the concrete. Her teeth gritted hard as she evened out her weight onto both legs for the first time.
I actually can't do this. Her left leg was virtually dead, threatening to give out like a twig everytime her heart rammed heavily.
Zion rushes to out of the cell, he then realizes that Delilah's robe and leg were gone.
Crap...
He followed Lachlan and took a look at the other kids his age, he recognized a few as the kids of his mother's old friends, he specifically recognized Wolfram as the person who Delilah randomly attacked. He held his precious sister closer to his chest and followed after the others, the alarms seeming to get louder and louder as time passed.
River smiled ruthlessly. "Looks like it. Sounds like Firestein? Oh yeah. I'd like to not get my head ripped open again..." She huffed. "But parent duty calls. Yeah, just like old times. And someone just triggered an alarm. Just like old times."
