«We Could Be Legends»

"Yeah, but...nvm, thx." She tapped the address twice and, almost immediately, the animatronic feminine voice of her phone's GPS system began dictating her forward.
Bleddyn heaved a sigh that misted out visibly and began to uproot herself from the branch.
She didn't realize how feckless she'd been with managing her balance during the dismount until she found herself facedown in mud. She exhaled a huge sputtering sigh and in turn inhaled more oozing muck than she did oxygen.

It took her a bit before she'd corraled enough willpower to peel herself up and hurry onward through the hammering rain at the Siri relation's relentless beckoning.
Brisa typed back:
OK, see you soon.
Setting her phone down, she glanced up at the others. "Well, she'll definitely have to do some explaining before we understand how she ended up by herself in a strange part of town." She said.

He tapped to glass of the car window softly, the pads of his finger landing softly against the cold, damp, smooth glass. He narrowed his bright blue eyes, staring out into the slowly darkening world. The silence was almost agonizing, except for the rhythmic thud of rain on the roof. Exhaustion pulled at him, and starvation hooked its claws into his stomach, reminding him painfully that he hadn't eaten in three days.
Wolfram let out a soft sigh, his eyes flicking over the ground outside. Images flashed in his head, his free hand gripping into a fist. He couldn't get his mind off Bleddyn ripping at the scabs on her arm. He cringed, remembering himself when he was younger, violently tearing open the dried blood on his arms, watching the blood drip down his pale skin, running like a small river down his arm, running down his wrist and dripping off the tips of his fingers.
Suddenly, the hand on the window tightened into a fist, and slammed against the black interior of the car door, a loud snarl escaping his lips."What the hell is wrong with me?!"

Toby's eyes were slightly glossed over. The silence was painful, reminding him just how loud the voices in his head were. His head was pounding. Let us out! We can help you! Let us out and you never have to see anyone's stupid face ever again. No, I won't listen to you. I will not let you out. Toby flinched when Wolfram punched the door. The sudden noise was enough to silence the voices. "Is it your goal to punch everything? Because you're doing a great job." He snapped.

Wolfram slammed his fist against the door again, the door shuddering under his violent touch."You try living my life for a day, you try having my life and my mindset and maybe...maybe you'll understand why I'm like this all the time!"He snarled, waves of shock going up his wounded arm from the force of the punch to the door, causing him to clench his jaw in pain."Try...to feel....like....a outcast...when all you tried to....do was....help...."He gasped softly, his voice strained, as if speaking had taken the energy from him.

"Well guess what? Life sucks. Life is like a smack of suck in your face. I have been through terrible things. But guess what? I have suffered through it, and I'm not complaining. Pull yourself together, and suck it up. Your mom died, you're hurt, I get that. But acting like a child throwing a tantrum is not going to bring her back. Nothing will. All you're doing is making it harder for yourself, and damaging your hand and the car." Toby snarled back at him, his purple eyes full of rage.

Wolfram twisted his body to face Toby, pupils slitted in rage."How dare you call me a child. I have been through more then you could imagine, and have endured pain that you would probably rather die then go through. You have no right to tell me that I am acting like a child, when you don't even know a half of the things I'm dealing with!"

"You're right, I don't know what you're going through, just like you don't know what I'm going through, or what Lachlan's going through, or anyone else for that matter. And if you've been through so much bad stuff, get a therapist. I'd be more than happy to recommend a few." He said sarcastically.

"I don't need to spew out my entire sob story to a stranger, thanks very much."Wolfram snarled, pulling back into the corner between the car seat and the door."I wish I didn't leave you out there alone, Dyn."He whispered, so softly he could barely hear it.

"They are different types of therapy, not just spill your guts out. And if you find someone you like and trust you shouldn't be afraid of talking to them." Toby said. Alpha rested his head on Toby's lap, trying to calm him down.

"Yeah? Well I don't like or trust anyone!"Wolfram snarled, shoving himself into the corner even harder, gripping his right hand into a fist.
