Indigo smiled cheekily, lines disappearing for a moment. But they deepened as his knuckles whitened. She was an expert on spotting clues in body language. As he glanced at his stomach, her eyes widened and her face smoothed. "Hey, you ok up there?"

When she spoke, he gripped the steering wheel tighter. "Yup, fine. I'm fine. Stupid traffic. They need to move." Toby mumbled, glaring at the car in front of them. "What about you, you guys fine? The boredom hasn't killed you I hope."

"I've never met a driver that was so hungry for entertainment. I'm not sure if that's safe," Indigo said lightly, saying words simply to hear them. She squinted. "Most of those vehicles are autonomous," she added. "Cautious, timidous things, never making a smart move. People need to learn to drive these days if they're going to get anywhere."

"Being bored while driving is better than being drunk or tired while driving. How's the insurance on this thing?" Toby asked quietly, drumming his fingers on the steering wheel.
"No. I know what you're thinking, don't do it. You're going to crash or get a ticket." Jessi said sternly. Toby rolled his eyes. "Fine." He grumbled.

"Yeah. Don't do whatever it is," Indigo warned.

"Yeah. Don't do whatever it is," Indigo warned.

Toby rolled his eyes. "It wasn't that dangerous. But, whatever. Hope you both enjoy going five miles an hour." His hand moved to the horn and he held it down, smiling at the look of annoyance from the other cars next to them. Jessi pulled his hand off the horn. "Stop acting like a child. If you keep this up, so help me I will make you pull over and have Indigo drive." Jessi snarled. Toby frowned, but didn't argue back.

"Well, the only reason I can't let you is because they make me pay the insurance for this vehicle now. Funny story," Indigo replied, crossing her arms. A smile crossed her face. At least I get to use it as often as I want.

"Umm. A few things. I got a few tickets. And hit a fire hydrant or two. I swear it was too close to the road though," Indigo averted her eyes. "I never go fast around pedestrians though."

Toby laughed. "Wow, that's bad. That is exactly why I'm driving, because I've never crashed a car. I think I might've gotten a parking ticket before, but that's it." He said.

"You sound like this is a proud accomplishment," Indigo drawled. "Hey, is the traffic clearing ahead?"
