Nora looked back at them before adding to the conversation. "I was taken by whatever did this from my home, that part makes some sense. Him disappearing from the middle of a major battle seems weird." She commented before continuing on.

Nigel looked to Nora before back to Janette. "Where were you taken from Miss?" He asked curious as to how and where she disappeared from.

"I was at home," Janette said after a moment of consideration. She hadn't really given much thought to where she'd last been, mostly because she simply couldn't recall. But now bits and pieces were coming back. "I had just gotten back from dinner with my boss, and I was going through some work stuff." Sort of the truth. Looking for any missing person could be considered work stuff in her job, right?

"There they are, just up ahead. That grouping of houses are where we went yesterday. we should probably stick together, go house by house. Any basic supplies, food, clothes, blankets, medical supplies that sort of thing. Also if you see something that might be useful grab it, you never know what we will need." Nora said with a smile as she gestured to the houses. She figured they probably knew what to look for but it didn't hurt to list them just in case.

Nigel nodded, but in his head was confused. These houses were like nothing he had seen before. He wondered if he would even recognize some of the things he was to look for.

"Speaking of," Ian said as he moved nearer the two, "I was thinking of heading out to see if there are any more survivors. Would either or both if you be interested in joining me?" He asked. He had been listening to their conversation from the other side of the fire. That wasn't to mean he could understand it, but he got the gist of it after a while. If it hadn't been such serious topics, he would have really enjoyed the humor to be found in their different accents alone.

Dierk looked to Ian as he chimed into their conversation, and decided that if he declined he would come off as rather lazy and useless. So he decided he only had one other choice.

"Ja, ich would nicht want to be unhelpful und instead a burden at a time like dies." Dierk replied simply, still not lacking that confusing German patriotism. He stood up, brushing the small amount of dirt from his uniform before waiting for Ian to continue.

(According to Google Translate, the word this is dies in German. XD)

Madeleine nodded slowly. "Je would love to," she said readily. She was eager to see their surroundings in the fresh daylight.

"Perfect," Ian said, clasping his hands together. "If neither of you protest, I say we leave sooner rather than later."

Janette followed Nora's lead. The houses looked rather strange to her as well, but assuming they were around the year 2800, it made sense for them to be odd.
