*°Hell as White as Snow°* (A Role Play)

(Just going to act like Jade said no.)

Given that the girl didn't want to partake in this little adventure, rather understandably as Dierk was sure she felt tired and weak, he was sure that confirmed that they would just go ahead and leave.

"Well, shall wir gehen then?" Dierk suggested politely, eager to help the group in one way or another. Possibly finding supplies or other survivors could help people not have any or as many negative or dangerous feelings towards him.
Ian lead the way out of the cave, checking over his shoulder to make sure they were coming.
The snowstorm had been reduced to flurries, but the result was an additional foot of snow since yesterday. Madeleine had to lift her feet high to get through the drift. Even so, she wore a cheery smile, happy to be out and alive.

Janette set to work immediately, first putting in the most important food supplies. If necessary, they could easily carry and layer on the clothes and blankets that Nigel had discovered.
Nigel went into the last house, however he realized after he went through the front door that it had been damaged sometime ago. He searched around in the damaged house to see what he could find.

Nora went to the second house in the little grouping, she had to wrestle with the door a bit as it was jammed or locked when she got there. After moving inside she noticed that this one was smaller, and much more modest then the first house they had searched. She set to work looking for anything of value that could come in handy. She also noted that while small, this house would probably be some what suitable for living in. It would hold heat well being so small, possibly better then the cave.

While the snow had definitely gotten surprisingly deep, Dierk still walked through it rather easily, at least compared to the conditions. Though he had to be honest with himself that this would get tiring quickly. Each lump of snow he shoved up to the surface with his boots was at least five pounds.

"Was exactly sind wir searching for aus here?" Dierk questioned simply, wondering if there was anything specific Ian wanted to find, or if it was just anything that would be useful.

Once the backpack was filled, Janette put the remaining items back in the pantry and closed the door. They could come back later for more supplies as they needed. She stretched her legs, then decided to explore/investigate the building. The house and items told nothing of the year. She had checked for expiration dates on the cans, but even they wouldn't tell the truth. She meandered around what was probably a dining room, picking up and scrutinizing items and the room itself.

"People," Ian said. "We're going to the area that we—or at least I—woke in. Keep an eye out around us for any signs of life."

Dierk nodded simply, "Ich will." he replied quietly and decided to remain silent as he looked out into the desert.

As he looked around them, he noticed two dark and rather fuzzy figures way off into the distance. He couldn't tell gender or build or really whether either were even a person, but it was a group of two that looked as if they could be talking.
It was only a matter of seconds before the two figures seemed to have walked away, and Dierk lost sight of them. It wasn't anything accurate enough or long enough for Dierk to think of it as anything but a trick of the eye, so he sighed and continued on.

Madeleine plodded along in silence, too absorbed in making careful steps as she followed the men to notice much else yet.

Ian stopped occasionally to turn around and survey the white land for movement.

(You still playing your slave boy character?)

Nigel found a duffle bag that looked usable and began loading it with the few blankets and clothing pieces he found. He found a few food supplies but not much, he loaded up anything he thought might be important.

Nora found a hiking pack in good shape in her house. She also found more outdoorsy type warm clothes. Whoever had lived here had obviously been more at home outdoors and kept their home humble. She packed the clothes, as well as a few first aid supplies. She grabbed every blanket she could find and then moved to the kitchen. She found some freeze dried foods, and some canned foods as well. She also found some small outdoor type metal utensils, plates, bowls spoons and little metal mugs. She packed those away knowing they would come in handy almost as much as the food.

(Yeppers. Do you want me to introduce him yet?)

Dierk continued walking, copying the silence of the others. He didn't see any ice blocks around, and he wondered if that meant all the people that were abandoned in this desert had been freed from them.
