However, tumbling to her feet, she saw a sight that chilled her veins. Three baby monsters stared at her with wide, hungry eyes, their beaks gaping and wings propelling themselves towards her. Knowing it was hopeless, she backed up against the far edge of the nest, staring fearfully from the oncoming chicks, to the ground below.
