"And they're capable of tracking anything down that they want! It's always been one of our biggest fears, that one of those creatures would lead humans to us in the night and they would shoot us while we were asleep."
Lena didn't know, naturally, that the reserve was closed for business after 8PM.
"I haven't seen anything around here, but then I've only been around all of five minutes! I certainly can't hear any painting or growling."

She picked up two small pebbles and started to scrape them together with her feet. Nothing happened.

Kernalcorn let loose a crow near by but in the woods were he couldn't be seen.

Silver breathed out a sigh of relief and watched the flames ripple and dance in the light. Its tendrils reached up, crackling and demanding more wood. Silver listened to the two experienced hens converse about their adventures, and she began to hear of things that she had never seen or even dreamed of. Nestling upon the ground, she huddled her legs underneath her as the fire spread warmth throughout their small patch of woods. The world, it seemed, had suddenly grown larger.

i was the most brave of the clan and i was out hunting and i um burn some of the camp down............ i was not trying too! i just was trying to help!
