He watched her swim away,then sighed. Frowning,he started to paw at the ground,wondering what to do. What had he become? Maybe Amouris was right..he was just a bloodthirsty beast.
Whatever he chose to do,he knew everyone would hate him in the end anyway. But there was still something deep down inside him,something that told Ares what he was doing was wrong.
He closed his eyes and slowly smiled. No,he wouldn't make the same mistake as his father. He would only do what was right. Slowly he opened his red eyes and looked into the sky from his place in the depths. This is where he belonged, whether he liked it or not.
