They always look so sad. How about my Betty? She's supposed to be a frizzle.

Oh! Thank you!! Now I don’t feel like someone will call Chick Protection Services on me for gross negligence! 🤣 The rest of my flock were also in various degrees of pitifulness but Lenny was definitely the worst! Ha!Ha! She was definitely ready for the day to end and to go to bed. At least it has stopped raining today. Lenny and her “twin” sister Squiggy might just dry out!

I love their names. Perfect! 😆

Thanks! All 10 of my chickens have weird names. The grandkids named them, but I did name Lenny, Squiggy and one of my Barred Rocks. Her name is Amy Farrah Fowler. 🤣
I love it. Very clever. :lau Did they not give you grief naming a hen Lenny?

Our two Polish live in The Cluckle Hut and are named after comedians.

Ha!Ha! Well, Lenny and Squiggy share an “apartment” in the coop with Elvis the Brahma Mamma. 😂 Elvis is very much a Big Sister and has always been very protective of the two of them. The other 7 chickens live in the other side of the coop. I had to keep the 7 separated from Elvis and the Polish because they would attack them when they were younger. I think they are all happier this way. Elvis never picks at their head feathers. She is timid. These pictures were from a few months ago.
