“New mother “ question

since we found our first egg 5 days ago we’ve gotten a new one daily. Is it likely the same bird or a few birds? Also, though small, all of the eggs have had normal shells? I’ll find out about the inside tonight. Having bacon and eggs.

If it's exactly one a day, perhaps laid slightly later in the day each time, then it's probably one layer.
