Of course, being told to 'calm down', never helped anyone calm down. But Lee did not want freak out and lose control, because if he did, the equivalent of what he had done to that bully in school would most likely happen to them. "I'm going to put music on." Lee stated as he stood, not looking at them as he walked to the player in the corner, and slipped in Plans, by Death Cab for Cutie. Music always helped him no matter what mood swing he was in. The first song on the album, Marching Bands of Manhattan played out through the surround-sound. Alternative rock with an ethereal, almost melancholy feel. ((Look it up if you haven't heard it, I love that album.))

Lee walked back to his chair and fell into it, sitting forward with his elbows on his knees, he looked to Sascha for answers to his questions, she seemed to be the one in charge.

Sascha had informed the agents that Lee was cyclothymic, disorders like it were not uncomin in those with adilities like he had. "We're with the SASD, an organization thats goal is too-" She began.

"You're here because of what I can do... Aren't you?!" Lee cut in, looking back and forth from all of them, his leg still figiting and his tone harsh, though it showed the anxeity he felt. He had seen enough movies and read enough books and played enough video games to know exactly what was happening, or at least he thought it could be. Why else would some organization he'd never heard of be sending people to speak with him? It was because they knew...

(Oh yeah, Death Cab for Cutie is good! Un-der-neath the sy-ca-morrre…{Sure it's from a different a different album, but I like it!})

Buck held up a hand, letting it glow, "We can do it too. Okay, sure, not the same as you but…" His voice trailed off at the end, and he shrugged, then stopped the glow.

Markus sighed almost inaudibly. Please shut up, Buck.

Lee stared at Buck's glowing hand, and stared a moment longer when it had stopped glowing, his expression unreadable. He tore his gaze from the once glowing hand, and looked to its owners face, eyes narrowed, "No, not the same..." He wasn't freaked out, he wasn't in disbelief, he was excited. Lee raised one eyebrow, and the room rippled as if it was water, the air presser propped, and the shadows seemed to grow from every corner. "Now that's, power. Wouldn't you say?" He stated with the slightest of smirks, but it was cold.

"Yeah, sure. You're godlike," muttered Buck, rolling his eyes. What a pompous little showoff.

Lee snorted derisively at Buck's muttered comment, and let the room return to normal, leg still figiting slightly. But inwardly, he sighed in relief, he had never purposefully shown anyone what he could do, and that fact that the people he had shown could also do, well, things, it made him not feel so alone.

"Lee," Sascha started, her tone holding a well placed note of seriousness, which caught his attention, "As you know all too well, with such a strong ability, you are a danger to others. We can not let that continue."

Lee nodded slightly, almost solum. He got where this was going, "So, do you want to imprisen me, or..." He faltered slightly, these people seemed nice enough, but he wouldn't put anything passed them.

Sascha's expression became more relaxed as she continued, "No, we do not want to, but there is a possibility of it if you were to not cooperate."

"Cooperate, how?" Lee asked, having trouble keeping his cool.

Sascha smiled, "You could be a SASD agent."

Wow, this is just like in the moves... He thought, than looked to the others, "You're all, agents, right? And do you all have-" Lee glanced to Sascha, remembering what she had called the things he could do, then looked back to the others, "- abilities?"

Markus shook his head, "Not all of us. I don't." He wouldn't admit it, but he didn't like telling people that. He always wondered if that would lower their opinions of him.

Lee nodded slightly, "You're lucky, they're cool and all but, I'd rather not have them." Well, sometimes... The second song on the album, Soul Meets Body started, and he closed his eyes, sighing inwardly. Music help mellow him, but it could only do so much.

"What do you say, want to be an agent?" Sascha asked softly, he was obviously having a hard time.

Before Lee really thought about his answer, he fond himself nodding. "Yes," He added, it wasn't like he had anything to lose.

"Good," Sascha smiled, "If you'd like, you can wait until your parents get home, so you can say your good byes, but they will have their memories modified, and-"

"No," Lee cut in, "I want to leave now, I don't need to wait." He stood quickly, looking back and forth from each of them, as he started walking past Buck on the couch, and Sascha in the armchair as he said, "I'm going to pack, I'll only be a few minutes!"

Lee quickened his pace as he passed Kastor and Alistair, giving them both furtive glances as if they might try and stop him as he headed for the large staircase.

Kastor raised an eyebrow at Lee's fearful look. He supposed the kid had an excuse to be nervous, though. It was surprising how easily convinced he was though.

((Furtive isn't really fearful, more of nerves, avoidance and guilt. :p ))

Sascha watched as Lee reached the stairs and ran up then three at a time, then stood from the armchair, and listened as the sound of a door closing rapidly on the second floor drifted down the stairs. "Interesting, that was easier than usual..." She said slowly, more to herself than anyone around her. It was odd, he was almost chomping at the bit to go, and the speed at which he had accepted their words. "I'd like us to keep a close eye on him, he just seems a bit too eager." Sascha told the agents in an undertone, deep brown eyes narrowed slightly as she watched the stairs.

Once the door to his room was closed and locked, Lee pulled his phone from his pocket and sat on the bed, quickly punching in a number. On the other end, the call was answered. "Hey, it's Lee. You said they'd come, and well, they did." Lee said quickly in a quiet tone as that get would not be overheard. After the person on the other end replied, Lee continued, "I said yes, it sounded like they were going to kill me if I didn't."

He listened with the phone to his left ear as he pulled out his suitcase from under the bed, then walked to his dresser as he replied, "That's what I was thinking. But they're waiting, so I got to go." Lee threw clothes into the suitcase on the bed, and added, "Thank you for the warning." He hung up, put the phone back in his pocket and continued throwing clothes into the suitcase.

~~~
On the other end of the line, Dominor smiled, slipping his phone back into his trench coat pocket. "We have ourselves a mole, my friends." He said as the rain hammered the streetcar on their way back from speaking with Verity and Clemency.
(I know, I know, I just didn't want to use the same word and I didn't think of "nervous".)
(Also: Brava.)
Kastor nodded to Sascha. She had voiced the problem on his mind. Even with his agenda, it had taken some convincing for him to join the SASD. Then again, it didn't take much for Katie…
~◊~
Katie punched the air. A small, triumphant gesture.
((Hehe, I know what you mean, I try to use different words to describe the same things as well.))
((Thank you! ;) ))
Lee finished throwing clothes into his case, and grabbed any items in the room that he wouldn't part with, stuffing them in the bag and zipping it closed. For a moment, he looked around the room, a sigh escaping him as he thought of the situation he had got himself into. I should have went joined the Order when they offered, but, I guess I've joined now by being their informant... He thought solemnly, then grabbed his back pack and slung it over one shoulder, pulling his suitcase behind as he left the room and headed for the stairs.
Sascha looked up to the stairs as Lee came down, suitcase landing on each step with a thud as he pulled it along. "Ready?" She asked with a kind smile.
Lee nodded, then looked over to the CD player, which was now starting the third song on the disk, Summer Skin. He blinked, and shut it off, then moved passed them to the coat rack, taking off his backpack so he could put on his black coat.
Sascha glanced at Alistair for an instant, a small, almost imperceptible smile playing across her lips for that moment. Then she turned to leave as Lee opened the door, walking out into the now relatively heavy rain without looking back, he did not have to, in his eyes, he wasn't leaving anything behind. This was his new life.
Dominor smiled in an approving way at Katie's display as the streetcar driver pulled them over and stopped according to his instructions, about a block away from the entrance to the Order's HQ.
The door slid open and and Dominor, soon followed by Seiko, and Mara, with Donovan taking up the rear, stepped out onto the rainswept sidewalk. Turning right, they walked at a brisk gait up the block as the streetcar drove away, the drivers mind wiped of ever encountering the imposing group.
Dominor turned into a dive bar/eatery by the name of The Foxhole, a fitting name for a place that housed one of the many entrances to their HQ. It was mostly empty, only being about eight in the morning, but there were around ten patrons, seated at the small round tables and in the leather booths eating their breakfast. At the large group's entrance, most of the people looked up, some were alarmed, others were curious, but most went straight back to eating.
Donovan new what to do from here, so without a second thought, he closed his eyes and with the mere thought of his the result he aimed for in mind, combined both Dominor's mind manipulation and Mara's sensory scrying. Which in its essence, expended his mind manipulating capabilities to reach whomever he wanted.
You never saw us, we were never here... Donovan's command entered the patron's and staff's minds without resistance, and they when back to what they had been doing prior to the strangers arrival.
Seiko smirked and strolled ahead of them, continuing into the kitchens and down the stairs to the large underground storage room, where in a back corner behind the kegs, there was a concealed door in the brick.
Dominor moved ahead of Seiko and pulled out one of the red bricks, which hid a key pad. He tapped in the long code, and the section of the wall moved back, then slid to the side, revealing a steep stair case leading down into the Seattle Underground, where the Ambroscus Order had made its home.
((Sorry about the length!))
