Hmm.... as a person who has a feral colony next door im not sure i like the idea. Though it would help with the rodent population... so would a dog.

We’re not “those people” we neuter/spay our pets(including future cats

We’re not “those people” we neuter/spay our pets(including future cats

We set the colony back quite a bit last year we took in the 2 boys in the spring and had them neutered. And there was a batch of 6 in the late fall. I had to taje 1 in to be put down. And a girl that worked at the vets gave me a number to someone that would take care of the rest and find homes for them. Unfortunately there is still a female over there. We called the Trap neuter release people but they said they wouldnt do it unless someone would claim responsibility for the cats. Which we cant do because we dont know how long we will be there and they arent actually living on our property. There were only 2 kittens tgis year.

Sadly, it’s in Vermont, so quite a ways away, I’m looking for any programs near us that actually have cats that are friendly with humans
