I did something I know I probably shouldn't have because I didn't know what else to do. I've spent hours looking and haven't found anything on chicks having green goo.... the remainder of the yolk was dry so I cut it off and popped it in with all the other babies. It wasn't bleeding. and the other chicks nibbling on its fuzz will help get the dry stuff out of its fluff.... though now that I think about it... maybe I don't want the others eating that.... *sigh*


maybe I can leave it there long enough to convert my incubator into a intensive care brooder.... right now it isn't safe for chickies it needs to be cleaned, and dried...........

I want to go to bed.

Yeah, I`m not very good at math. I bet you did great though! I`m also good, animals are acting normal, but I`m having a hard time with the roosters. :/ They keep attacking the hens. They already killed one of our two oldest, she was 4 years :/

Well, you could put him in a Tupperware dish. Not too small, because the heat lamp will make it extra hot

I have two roosters, one bantam and one standard, and 10 hens, five hens a rooster, and all the hens are standards (Except one is kinda like a dwarve so...).

Huh. That's weird. I had a turkey once that would kill chickens, and we didn't realize what was going on until he was the last one standing. It might do you good to chop the head off the offender.
