The letters arent scrambled just the words. Im reading them to him after he tries first and he can say them in the right order but cant remember long enough to write it down.
Ohhhh okay. Could he maybe number each word and then write it down? Or maybe try something a little easier if he isn’t able to do it.

Yeah.... sort of... ive tried that he immediately goes off topic and wont let me continue with the school work. I dont actually have that much for them to do. If they each did 4 pages a day work days only theyll be done in 2 months. Its just frustrating sometimes.

That was my first thought. Adding numbers confused him. Its alright hes writing his own sentences now. He can read if he just tells himself he knows how. But hes convinced he cant so he doesnt try.

My younger brother has learning disabilities and is very similar. I just tell him to relax and take his time because he can do it.
 
The main think im trying to teach him is you finish your work even if its wrong and he does it himself. Public school taught him if its too hard dont bother trying.
