Ok... old person asking stupid questions again. I've seen it more than once and google is unhelpful. please someone define:

The context was not I dabbed the paper with the paintbrush. It was more a one word sentence. Like: Epic!

google had 3 ideas:
I'm assuming not a drug reference because... well that just seems unlikely to me.
is it a new way to say fist bump?
or is everyone putting their heads in the crook of their elbow to show that they think they're cool now?

Do you guys think I should get ringneck doves? Are they friendly and will they cuddle with us? Do you have any experience with them? What’s their personality?

Doves aren't as smart as parakeets, but with enough work they can become tame enough to cuddle.
If you're new to doves and pigeons, I would recommend checking out diamond doves (smaller, indoor) and homing pigeons (larger, outdoor/indoor) first, since they're much easier to tame down.

I'm not entirely positive of what exactly it is, but on the occasion I do dab it's like a victory dance kinda thing.
