Good! I figured out notes to a song on the piano just by singing it and hitting different keys, which I thought was cool

It’s a Christian song called king of my heart. I’ve been meaning to learn it, but it’s a hard song and I couldn’t find any sheet music that was simple enough, so I was just like never mind you internet and sat down and taught myself lol.

That is one of the best ways to get super familiar with the keys. I didn't entirely teach myself how to play, but once you can put a note in your head and hit the right key, it gets really fun.

I take lessons but they get a bit slow for me and I want new more complicated songs to try. I also taught myself in the beginning, which I find gives you a great head start in lessons.

Same. :/ I haven't taken a lesson in soooo long though. I need more music. XD
I've been working on Sleigh Ride for almost two years now - I LOOOVE that song XD
