Yup! I've always wanted a couple of those.

d'Uccles! Wyandottes! Polish! Japanese!! d'Anvers! Blue Wheaten Ameraucana!! Chickens!!!! :th :love.

Where's that NHRB you keep telling us about??
Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!
The "ameraucana" was TOTALLY an EE. I was kinda mad at that. There were three OBVIOUS EE pullets in the cages on either side of him. :barnie

Yup.

Love the name! And he's such a pretty boy. :) I love roosters (at least the ones that behave :p). My dad isn't really fond of Rudy, either. :lau I've had to rescue him from almost becoming stew several times. Same with a few of my hens, because I got a bloody nose from being pecked up my nostril and then pecked in the eye the next day. I don't know why they did that, because it's never happened before.

Thank you very much! At first the name was Maggie... Until I heard a different pitched crow in the barn. :lau
Same here! Roosters (that behave) really do make a flock feel complete and protected, and you always have an extra backup for breeding. :) Goodness, our Dad's might just get along! :lau Thankfully you were able to save him! My Dad hasn't tempted stew... Yet... But he has gotten really mad at Magnum.
That's peculiar! Things happen like that, sometimes the sweetest hen will do something surprising and rise up to the top of pecking order... It can be deceiving at times. :idunno
