Aww. I ruined a batch one time. I read in a book (a PUBLISHED, WELL-KNOWN book) that said you could put tin foil in the bottom of your incubator to make for easier clean-up. It did NOT mention that it would raise the temp. Or kill the eggs. I got so sick. It was just my second incubation, too.

It's a very common book. I actually used aluminum foil successfully, it's just you're not supposed to put it in mid-cycle.
