Niiiiice. I take bunches of pre-vet courses now at different clinics, and I've taken quite a few junior internships...
Funny thing is, I really have no inspiration for my career to veer that way.

So what stuff are you doing to actually get a chance to feel what being a vet feels like? Have you shadowed?

I want to but most vets say I have to be a certain age, insurances purposes.

I want to shadow the vet that cares for our chickens. My mom hasn’t gotten around to asking her yet. She works with large farm animals, which is what i want to do. I have been compiling a kit of vet supplies for my chickens and enjoy checking them and fixing issues they have. I also have lots of books that I read and am memorizing stuff out of a color atlas of large animal anatomy that I got for christmas.

I had four teeth pulled at thanksgiving. It was horrible. It’s for braces. I had a cleaning done recently and I felt sick the entire time cuz I kept remembering getting teeth pulled. I hate the dentist now.

Being in 4H gives me a bypass for the regulations.

Ooooooh, have you gotten into pig and horses yet?
I'm particularly enraptured with equine's intestinal tract. It's so flipping long and so many things can go wrong with a simple contortions.
