I forgot about walking barefoot, and all the fruits. *-*

Yup he is! He guards us from cows walking in the field, deer, big vultures, hawks (when he chases a hawk off he gets lavished in praise), our neighbors riding their horses thru our yard, and any noise he hears.
Yet he is afraid of certain corners, our self run vacuum, doorways, and water.

Over here, we have our own fruit trees, and there's a bunch of fruit over our local park (that no one eats, because they dare not eat "wild" food ).
We have figs, pears, plums, apples, redcurrants, blackcurrants, strawberries, and anything else we can grow. And over our park we get slows, blackberries, and so many different types of plums.

All of this is making me miss it even more. ;--;

I don't know what slows are. the only thing in your list we don't get is figs.

The chokecherries in my picture were wild I picked with the kids along the train tracks. They make really good jelly.
