I know what you mean.
When I realized I never was worth anything to my "friends" except as the freak show girl with all the animals, I exploded and closed myself from human companionship.
Worked perfectly.

She's been hit hard, dude. Tiger was her best friend. :/ She's going to be swamped by bulldozing grief for awhile yet, and no one can rush her through it.
Pray for her. That's all any of us can do.

Unfortunately for you and others, you don't know the Fluff I do. Sure, she can make a joke. And, if you knew the story behind half of them, you'd find it so funny that you'd fall on the floor each time she comes out with a new one. Some people might get agitated at her so-called "untimely" sense of humor. And you know what, that's okay. They're entitled to that bitterness. People have tired of me for the same reasons. I've learned to walk away and keep laughing.
But there's a different side to her. One that's caring, considerate, talented, and knowledgeable.
Really, really knowledgeable. She's an amazing artist with a real talent for animation, and the patience required for that is unbelievable. Trust me, I know. @-@
Nowadays, the ability to laugh and make jokes of things has to be entitled as immature by our stiffened society.
If that's so, then I never wish to grow old emotionally.
I find it sad that not everybody can have Fluff as a friend. Their days would be a whole lot brighter.
