Not chickens. It's a walking bird, so not one that would get around by hopping like a large wildbird would. Hawk? The chickens are penned up and they don’t free range. We have lots of hawks but they don’t usually walk so when they are on the ground they hop. Turkeys strut. All other birds in our area(that I know of) are waterfowl and have flown south for the winter. The only possible explanation would be turkey or a wild chicken(which I would be phyched about) unless you know of something elseNot chickens.
