Are these turkey tracks or have the chickens escaped briefly through a latched door and the came back, latched the door(on the the outside) while being inside and without me noticing?View attachment 1252902
Not chickens. It's a walking bird, so not one that would get around by hopping like a large wildbird would. Hawk? Do you have bantams?

The chickens are penned up and they don’t free range. We have lots of hawks but they don’t usually walk so when they are on the ground they hop. Turkeys strut. All other birds in our area(that I know of) are waterfowl and have flown south for the winter. The only possible explanation would be turkey or a wild chicken(which I would be phyched about) unless you know of something else
