All put together. The walls and floor are made from .5" plywood. The floor and 2" up the bottom of the walls was painted with silicon to prevent leaking. And then the whole thing was painted with white latex paint 3 coats I think. The board on the top back is .25" plywood it doesn't sit flat... but it keeps the heat in.

My dc12v headlight socket I've got 2 that attach to my 12v Thermostats.

Super awesome aquarium glass I have a cut out area in the walls that it fits into perfectly. ( The all important coffee that will be part of the entire incubation process can be seen clearly in this photo as well lol)

My thermostat lights get hot glued to the glass. The hardest part of putting this thing back together is connecting the wires of the lights to the thermostats because I can't lift the glass anymore.

my newest alteration I added a staple to keep the wires up, last time they were hanging down and I was freaking out because the chicks were messing with the twist caps on the live wires while they were hatching.

Yeah that's super blurry... almost 21" I have 2 9" desktop fans in back I got from walmart they have USB hookups I have a power bar with usb and normal wall plug thingys... :P in all this uses 3 normal plugs and 2 usb. If I was more electrically inclined I could probably take it down to 2 normal plugs, but alas I am not.

The hardware cloth / foil wall at the back edge of the glass keeps the 60 watt light from cooking my eggs and the chicks from getting to the back. On the edges where the fans blow is about a 2" gap where there's no foil so the air can be pushed through.

I have the 60 watt bulb on a dimmer switch, I would like to eventually get it set up on a thermostat too but for now it'll do.

view through the access door with everything turned on.

From above, I can fit 3 dozen eggs in the front.

Set up for lock down, the purple board is humidity barrier insulating board. I have that on the floor of the incubator too. the plastic hardware cloth is under that so I can put a wet hand towel above the light. It works ok... I would like to get a better set up for my humidity. last time I ended up having my floor insulating board floating in water because I couldn't keep the towel wet.

The front access door for turning eggs. It's a bit tight but it works, and if I want I can block the rest of the door so I don't loose humidity and take out chicks.

And one of the 2 thermostats. I had them on the inside at one point and then realized that was a stupid idea and moved them both out. Now I can adjust them with out opening the incubator. I think I got them off ebay. They work really well temperature wise what I don't like about them: Only Celsius read out. Wire hook up directions and labels are only in Chinese. And for me the probe wires are too long, but that is better than too short. The red and black wires were just wires with no actual hook up for the electric but I did know that when I bought it, just if you've never done any wiring before that could be a problem especially with the non-English instructions.

The holes I have below the thermostats on either side are about 1" diameter. I put those in intending to make myself a tuner that I could turn by hand. I was rushed last year with back to back incubation so I never got the chance to make the turner, and the chicks were stronger than any of my other hatches. I think the reason for that is the extra ventilation from those holes so I don't want to block them with a turner. I'll be going by hand turning again until I can figure something better out. :/

Here she is fully loaded last year I moved the fans and the thermostat lights right after the picture. I needed room to actually turn the eggs and I was finding that the temps were inconsistent with all of the lights in the back.
