Gosh, that looks like rocket science.
nupe, I got it put together over I think about 3 months. the box, light and fans in back testing etc. and then I got the thermostats I think the next year. It is still a work in progress. But it works way better than the store bought 7 egg incubator I bought. And it's better than the first one I had to work with which was a still air plywood box, that was the dimensions of the aquarium glass and about 18" tall. with 1 light. SOMEHOW I hatched 3 eggs in that. I didn't sleep. That's how. :P

Wowzas... But it doesn't have an auto Turner?

February is my best hatching time because the in house temperature is consistent with the heat being on. But the eggs I'm setting are from a flock that has supplemental light so they are laying and active ;)
I don't have electricity in my coop. If I want light, I have to drag a car battery back and forth. Holds charge for 6 hours and makes horrible beeping when it runs out.

no. *cries*

I haven't found one that I want, and I've heard that the motor can over heat any eggs near it so I'm pretty picky. I would be happy with something that I use by hand to turn them all at once. that would be nice. I'd still be stuck at home though. since my boy wont turn the eggs for me if I'm gone.
