♥ ♥ ♥ Show Off Your Call Ducks ♥ ♥ ♥

Welp, a few years ago I became obsessed with calls and tried hatching some with no success. I have decided to give them a go again, but would like ducklings. Will anybody be having some near me or able to ship anytime soon?

Sorry you had bad luck with eggs. Most responsible Call breeders won't ship ducklings. They're just too small and delicate to do well in shipping, and the risk of them dying is high. You could probably buy a juvenile pair though and have them shipped in, or give eggs another try - Calls are hard to hatch, a lot of times they need assistance, but it can be done.

The boat froze solid but the top couple inches have thawed. :yesss:

I put this plastic waterer on a galvanized heater base. Works fine, although it does develop an ice ring inside. I have to fish it out every few days.

I always have to want the complicated ones :th

Here's my call duck yard. I realize everyone can't bury a boat for their ducks :D
Netting over top, feed hangs under the little green roof thing, the girls usually lay eggs in the log house. I wish they would sleep in there, but usually they sleep in the water, up under the bow of the boat.

Hey WV, what is that you have in there for a ramp? We made a ramp out of a board but it wants to float and I had to tie it to a huge brick to hold it down :hmm
