His eyes swept the area as she pointed. It was so beautiful, he wished she could see it. He turned back to her, "Yes, I would like that, very much." he replied warmly, staring deeply into her eyes. Even though she could not see his, he sensed that she could feel it, and feel the beauty surrounding them.She nudged him comfortingly with her wing. "I know how you feel. This is where I come when I feel like that." she replied as she gestured with one claw at their surroundings, at the golden light shining down from the canopy overhead onto the soft moss underfoot. "We could share it if you like," she added. She turned to where she knew his head was and hoped he could see the warmth and kindness in her white, lifeless eyes.
