Maybe it could be 50 or something instead?

I'd want to really look at the actual data to see how many posts a member has at the time they mistakenly post a thread to an article. In theory, if someone is actively posting 25 times in the forum, they should know by then the difference between a forum thread and an article... and (IMO) if they don't by then, then making it 50, 100 or 1,000 might also not make much of a difference.

Hmm, that makes sense. I just feel like 25 can easily be achieved in a day or two if they try or, say, asked a question and are responding to people, but they maybe have never been to the article section yet or accidentally click on it. Although I guess if they are posting in the forum section then they clearly know what it is... which I guess is what you are saying. I see your point now. Sorry.

Anyway, I think looking at the data is an excellent idea and then setting it to whatever is most common. Obviously it won’t solve all the problems but may help some.

While we figure that out, we really should have an article on "How to create a great article" that is linked to from the create new article pages, etc.

I have to agree the concept is great but I would not want the job going through the members pages for something than can be placed in the LC

You should be a professional organizer or life coach or planner or something. You’re really good at all this sort of stuff and seem to love it which is great cause most people hate it and everyone needs this sort of thing!! Haha
