I think I've stumbled upon a realization. I'm feeding my 1.5. week old bantams Purina all flock. Do I need to put chick grit on the side?
Do you feed them anything besides this complete feed?
If so then adding some grit on the side would be a good idea.

Did you try emailing the company. Ask to see the crude analysis label.

No, I have not done so yet.
I have these brands on my list because someone here said they use it so I figure it would be easy for them to upload their labels.
After I finish with the feeds I do have access to the info I need...I may email them.
I may not.

Kiki, thanks for this project, it is fascinating and informative.
My market area is very limited but it would be great to have access to soy free, corn free, organic feed. The closest I've come to that was a 150 mile round trip drive and the feed was mixed grains. My girls billed through for the treats, didn't eat the rest. :(
Shipping cost for feed is an outrageous expense. The poor UPS driver wouldn't be nearly as pleasant....

I'll be buying Nutrena Chick Starter and All Flock, tomorrow, TH 5/17.
Do you need copies of ingredients??

Also, the place I buy feed sells a "layer" feed for "free range chickens. Do you want info on that?
again, thank you! laura

I have the Nutrena feed information already.
What is TH....never mind. It just clicked.

If you want to take pictures of the other bag at your feed store I will add it to the sheet so you can compare it.
