Kiki, Interesting side note about H and H... They took one of the studies my nutritionist did to heart. They palatalize all the meals into a large pellet and then crack it with the grains. First time I've ever seen this approach. Studies we've conducted show that birds don't like grain meals... They consume fish meal and vitamin pack but leave the other meals behind. This approach solves that problem.

I commend your efforts on the chart but it ignores the inclusion of specialty ingredients that may improve the health and production of the flock above and beyond feeding a specific, adequate nutrient profile.
Can you say this a different way please, I'm not understanding.

Nutrient Profile does not tell the whole story of the feed, you have to look at both the nutrient profile and the ingredient list to determine the quality of the feed.
Gotcha...but ingredients per brand name are not across the board.
They vary per location per time of year so it would almost be impossible to add that information to my sheet.

I understand the challenge, but that is the downfall of simply looking at nutrient profile as the means to judge a feed. Plus the chart you have developed is dependent on the information provided on the tag which is regulated by AAFCO regulations and is not all inclusive.

Looking at the guaranteed analysis tag is better than just looking at the pretty pictures on the feed bag. :D
