➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

So, I candled today. I set last Friday night, so today is day 7.

3 had movement.
14 were clear, including all 3 of the eggs from my girl and 3 of the celadons.
16 were dark like the one above. I don't know if those are good or not.
1 I'm really not sure about. It wasn't dark or clear, but I didn't see movement either

The one celadon that wasn't clear was the one that I think may have had a crack. What do you think?View attachment 1919682
I'd leave it in the bator.

Do you see what I just noticed right now?
Could be her pupil is a bit more dilated (was she in dimmer/indirect light?) than usual and you’re just catching more of the retinal reflex. Less than average retinal pigment could be contributing. People can have ocular albinism where skin and hair pigment are essentially normal but eye pigment is reduced. Just some thoughts.

Old "candler" and new flashlight.
Remember to try your phone flashlight too.
I find that towards the second half of the incubation. My phone flashlight, shining through the air cell, Is better than my powerful flashlight when it comes to seeing movement inside.
