Nahh, we’re leaving the eaves in the whole front and back open and adding several windows as well including some on the side pictured. Haven’t cut the hole out yet. Though I did think of cutting open the top of the side walls too but did forget about that. I will ask if we can still do that. But the whole front and back (8 feet wide) will be open and covered in HC.

He was just a wee 6.9 ounces.
I saved some of his new little feathers, they are quite black.

8 weeks and he was still a midget.
I can't keep midgets. They don't taste as good.
