I normally only candle when I am moving the eggs from the incubator to the hatcher. If there is a rotten egg aroma coming from the incubator, I will make an exception to find the rotten egg and remove it.

So you have two different setups... Jealous! I guess I'll get better at incubating then invest in another. I need to try quail.
