Nope. You put tea leaves in the basket, then pour almost (not quite) boiling water over the leaves. I have a Zojirushi electric kettle that keeps my water at 208 degrees for my tea.

The weight on the eggs set were close to 13 grams. With a couple larger but most 12-13 grams. Hope to get larger egg sizes also.

The Set1 hen that is laying is 14-15 grams daily. Looks like only one hen.
