➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

For as much as I’m on my phone, I am really not that tech savvy haha
I have an extremely cursory knowledge of programming terminology that comes from being around tech people quite a lot. Past that, my knowledge goes about as far as accessing the internet and taking screenshots.

Hmm... Well, I am currently watching my class build DCs in order to create their own domains so they can join clients to them and roll out security and policies via GPOs. I will also have them install DNS and DHCP roles on their DCs and possibly WDS and WSUS later in the mod.

;):p
I just found out that the college I teach at is closing. I have to go find a real job.

Oh no...on the closing part.

don't forget about grammar. Technical papers tend to be fraught with grammatical errors.

In all professions, communications is crucial. Those than can market can sell. Apple is a great example of making a product and THEN creating a market/need/demand for it.

You can say that again. I've gotten into the habit of carrying a pencil with me so I can fix the mistakes I see. It's pointless, but enjoyable.

Yeah. I don't want to work 40 hours/week any more. Maybe I'll try to retire and raise quail for a living. ;)

I have a year to a year and a half to find something.

That’s at least somewhat good it’s not immediate! Not good it’s closing but gives you time. Can you transfer to another school or something??

:lau I know nothing about coding or programming or anything and I always feel stupid :lau :gig :lau

Seems like it should be so easy.

:lau that’s becoming common/popular now!

Always surprises me how many simple mistakes people make especially with autocorrect and stuff now aha

I'm pretty decent at writing. I'm part of a writing group and I'm in the credits for a few books. Maybe I'll go into technical writing.

There are a lot of things that I can do and I have time to look, so I'm not going to panic. I don't need huge quantities of money, so I'm hoping to find something that isn't 40+ hours/week. I also don't want to commute more than 30 or so minutes each way to work.

Punctuation saves lives. For example:
Let's eat, Grandma.
Let's eat Grandma.

If your pencil is pointless, you should sharpen it. :lau Gets your point across better.

Why a pencil? Sharpie permanent markers are so much harder to get off monitors.

Are all the billboards changing to wide screen TVs up yonder? If they can hang a 50' TV on the side of the road, why can't we get one for the house?
