Okay, a more accurate total is 412, not counting a few non-official sets and eggs transferred to broodies. Still, Kiki, you're insane.

Her balut eggs she got by accident.
How did I miss counting them? I haven't written them up in my finished yearly reports yet; they're in my notebook only.

Her first set was by accident. After those got fried by her makeshift incubator, she tried again. Right, Kiki? You didn't have the styro bator back then?Wait I thought she got those on purpose!? Didnāt she go ask the guy if he had any!? Or was that after?? I forget![]()
That's total set, not total hatched. I didn't hatch anything but shipped eggs for years, and either my post office hates me or I don't have Kiki's magic touch, because I only average about 50% of fertile eggs on those. Well, I average higher for quail, I guess; chicken eggs take shipping harder. And then, when I did switch to my own eggs, I had terrible fertility problems. That's also spread over a period of over four years. It's not one season.Wait I thought she got those on purpose!? Didnāt she go ask the guy if he had any!? Or was that after?? I forget
no, silly! How did you hatch so many!!
I need to hatch again!!![]()
Hoarder requires an intervention. You're allowed to hatch as many as you want as long as you sell or eat the extras.touchĆ©! But sheās gonna hatch even more now!! If itās possible to be even more of a hatching addict, that will be Kiki now! And a quail hoarder

No, last year was awful. Less than 50% of the eggs I set were fertile. It's a long road up with the breeding stock I have. I'll get there eventually.Oh no! Thatās terrible!! Hopefully itās better now??
I should find the posts where she first realized they were balut. She was panicking.![]()
