Only time will tell. I always at least see if they will thrive before I off them for a physical flaw.

One of my littles has a serious case of splay leg. I didn't notice it when I put it in the brooder. It was probably one of the ones I put in in the middle of the night. It's in a jar in a warm spot in the brooder. I will be checking frequently to make sure it doesn't look overheated.

I threw out my last batch of eggs and set some new ones and they’re doing great! They are due to hatch in a few days. I set them Jan 31st

My first hatched balut baby was named street food. He was a yeller too.

Every few months the Mini will ask me when am I going to hatch out some more Streets for him to play with in the bath tub.
He's still pissed I didn't put the ducklings in the tub.
