I'm trying to find a few to incubate. Jake needs a companion. What was the name of the hatchery that you said has turkey eggs?

All of the major hatcheries sell turkey hatching eggs. Porter's Rare Heritage Turkeys does not advertise turkey hatching eggs but has been known to make sales after being contacted through the web site.

I have 4 dozen turkey eggs in the basement. I have not decided whether or not to set them.

Yes, that's the name you said before. Thanks. Some I've looked at recently have hatchlings but not the eggs, or I'm dumb and can't find them. The minimum order of 10 poults makes a BIG price tag on the order...

I never worry about minimums. I buy the minimum even if it is more than I want. When they arrive, I immediately list them for sale. I have not had any problems selling the extras.

It probably would work if you are using it as brooder temperature controller and don't mind the temperature varying by several degrees.

You wash your hands. Most people don't.

I wash mine before and after. I'm a germ freak.

It would just be for a brooder not an incubator. Is there something better? I have a 100 watt bulb but between trying figure out how far away to keep it and then thinking about decreasing over time I’m not sure the best way to control it. The brooder is indoors so hanging a light from the ceiling isn’t ideal.
