Idk, but if it was crossed with a Silver, the Silvers feather patterns would be evident! and I don't see any!Wonder how they got the toppy feathers
You don't need a weapon to be heavy to be effective. You just need to know where to put it. I could disable someone with a spoon or a pen. A piece of paper can be a good distraction while you kick or hit something.I would never be able to fight anyoneI, too, am extremely out of shape and also quite clumsy and uncoordinated. I would definitely get my ass kicked
Not to mention probably pull a muscle or two
I would like to learn how to turn stuff into weapons though.
Can you turn a spoon into a weapon? A piece of paper? A pen?![]()
Well good to knowIdk, but if it was crossed with a Silver, the Silvers feather patterns would be evident! and I don't see any!
That makes sense!! That’s actually one reason why I don’t really like my new keys because it’s just the fob/push start, no actual key. I liked carrying the actual key between my fingers so I could stab somebody if need beYou don't need a weapon to be heavy to be effective. You just need to know where to put it. You can use anything as a weapon. You don't need to do anything fancy with it, just learn to use what's around you.Now I’m curious what else can be made into a weapon.![]()
Just noticed the edit but oh wow that sounds really interesting for sure!!! They use a real sword!?You don't need a weapon to be heavy to be effective. You just need to know where to put it. The day I got my shodan was interesting. I went to a taikai and was the only person from my training group to go to this one. My teacher's teacher was there, as well as Jack Hoban. I spent two hours on my 250cc motorcycle to get there, and when I got there, my instructor's teacher came up to me and said, "You're testing for shodan today, right?"
My intelligent response was, "Uh... okay?"
I went through my forms, and was standing watching some other people who were testing when I heard a yell from behind me. To this day I'm not sure what I did, but I moved, rolled, and the shinai went full speed down and across, but I didn't get hit. Jack had snuck up behind me and told me I passed as soon as I was back up and facing him.
I was just reading the full site that I linked, and Mark Hodell is mentioned. He was my instructor's teacher.
I need to look into this. You can use anything as a weapon. You don't need to do anything fancy with it, just learn to use what's around you.
In training it's a shinai or boken. Practice weapons. I have wooden swords, knives, spear, naginata, staff, stick. I still have my kusari gama, kusari fundo and blow gun as well.Just noticed the edit but oh wow that sounds really interesting for sure!!! They use a real sword!?![]()
