I was though that’s the weird thing! I made sure to check a ton cause I was like what the heck!? can they lay more than once a day ?? I swear I was getting a very unusual amount for the amount of birds I had! There were a few days where I didn’t check but even when I checked multiple times a day I would find so many! But maybe they hid some haha

You did not collect regularly or check good enough.

Hmmm weird!! They usually always laid them in a box but I’m sure I maybe missed some. Would it be possible to get 5 though from them? I was getting a ton but when they resume laying again I will start keeping track

Okay so just so I know.... some of the boys kind of look like they have speckles too ??? And are pretty big? How can you tell ?? The red on them ??? But some of the females seem to have similar ? It’s all so confusing to me still even with “feather sexable” I really thought I only had like 3 boys, 5 girls but it’s looking like it’s the other way around? weird thing is they don’t fight anymore though. They were fighting a lot before I offed like half the boys

Feather sexable female quail have spots on their chest like the two red dots.

Males have clear no spot chests.

Males have clear no spot chests.
