Just be aware that Quail eggs are very small compared to chicken eggs and they cannot handle extended temperature changes as well as chicken eggs can.I'm a little disapointed...only 9 eggs are developing out of the 23 I set. 8 were infertile, and the rest were early quitters/blood rings. I'm like 98% sure it isn't my incubator, I have calibrated thermometers and I've never had problems with this one. I contacted the seller and fortunately she said she'll replace all of them once these hatch.
Only 6 actually quitJust be aware that Quail eggs are very small compared to chicken eggs and they cannot handle extended temperature changes as well as chicken eggs can.
If you have a lot that look like they quit, it's possible they're sitting in a hot spot.
Do you think I candeled too often maybe? Idk. I only candeled them all maybe 3 times and it never takes me more than a minute or two.Just be aware that Quail eggs are very small compared to chicken eggs and they cannot handle extended temperature changes as well as chicken eggs can.
