I have chicks hatching too. Mine never seem to do the popcorn thing. I woke up to two yesterday, I'm up to 13 now, but they're still hatching.

This batched all hatched within 8 hours.

I have a noisy chick, but it's a bit different from noisies that I've had in the past. This one will quiet down when I'm in the room. I don't have to be paying any attention to the chicks, just be in the room. This one also tends to run towards my hand when I put it in the brooder. I guess it really wants a mom.

I tossed out 64 Bob's eggs, today....I have 4 incubators full, so I just fed them to whatever finds them!

Jumbos and Falb Fee. I got 30 of each, but a lot quit early, and at least 4 pipped and died before they could zip. I did assist one that pipped from the wrong end, and it's in the incubator now drying out. I think it's going to be okay.

One more, assisted. It zipped and then got knocked around and disoriented.

I have a few more with movement and one more pipped so I’m going to give it a day or so.
