I'm on call. I think I got everything set. But in case of "whoops", call me. It's rough to be good at what you do. But I try.

I don't know what a normal regular skinned quail is supposed to weigh.
I thought it looked close enough to the same size as the ones I used to buy from the grocery store.

Yes. Regular quail are 6-8 ounces cleaned.
Meat makers advertised as 12-14 ounces. HUGE!

Yes, different breeders. Different names. Different genetics?

Bottom line are big quail. Faster growers. Bigger eggs. Selected and optimized for the desired traits. Then commercialized and marketed.
