➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

I would like to point out for the record, you are evil. In the most respectful way possible. I hope you understand.

:lau

Kiki - there is a $75 incubator with forced air on craigslist that I need you to buy so I don't. :D

Next week is 8 weeks for Batch #1. Eggs any day now. Any day. I'll guess the cold snap coming this weekend will push it out another couple of weeks. :hmm
Didn't say you had to. Personally I like holding for 5 days not 4.

I have three

But I use them all for one hatch right now because I am lazy. I have a pre-lockdown, a post-lockdown, and a teeny weeny chick fluffer.
Ya need more :rant....I have 3 cabinet and 5 foam, and 1 Nurture Rite 360

ERMERGERD. I am picking up 14 rabbits at the end of the month, keeping my favorite doe, @Sara L is going to help me and we're going to practice sexing and processing the rest together and fill our freezers with pounds upon pounds of $2/lb rabbit meat. What an adventure, and great steal.:wee
I had to read that first word three times to figure out what you were saying and then I cracked up laughing.

This is fabulous.
When BYC members meet each other in real life selfies are required.
It's a rule.

I got lost on Craigslist for a whole wasted hour just now looking for Nutty's incubator.
I got sidetracked looking all over Texas at chicken stuff.
I can't help but laugh at some of the ads.

Got my 1st egg today. :celebratePc. colchicus
or Southern Caucasus or in layman's term a Southern Black necked pheasant. Nice blue/green.

That is incredible. How does one fit in all the bits??? I didn’t know a chick could BE that teensy. Well, hummingbirds and stuff, but holy buckets that’s small!

Anyone tired of me sharing these photos, LOOK AWAY!!!
Duckling grunted and pointed to this egg in the incubator. The photo is after she began moistening, and assisting.

Child couldn’t talk, but she listened to everything I said, and did it by herself!

What a cutie! Smart, too. I’ll bet her little hands are an asset in a job like that. You’re raising a future (quail) farmer there... a regular poultry diva.
