➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

She doesn't look that bad to me Kiki, I would just keep an eye on her and see if she starts acting weird or not wanting to move around. The video she was getting around ok so I think she probably just got poked in the eye.
Can you see her top beak?
Let me go get more pictures...I am just noticing the one I posted above sucks.

HMMM. Hopefully I will have minimal flies with deep litter and clover if i can get it established
Iv'e never had a fly issue until last summer for about a week.
It came out of no where and I was dying...full on panic attack mode freaking out trying to get rid of them and them just like they showed up they were gone.

I have never in my life seem so many flies and we have horses.

I swear by the fly sprays and keep them handy at all times just in case I see a random fly I spray everything right then and there.

That happened to me two years old ago. Millions of flies just showed up, took about two weeks and they were all gone? Weird freak of nature I guess.

it’s not heated but usually stay 5-10* warmer than outside temp. since lows not dipping much below 60, I have changed my brooder light out there to a 60W bulb and 2 week olds are doing fine same babies in the house. it took us so long to find the button when it got loose because those little guys are FAST and my shed reorganization project needs attention!! he had wiggled around all the shelves and moved to the garage side where we were able to net him. hubby had already closed off all the holes quail were able to get back through from the outside run.
I was just curious, buttons can't tolerate cool temps. 50°F will kill them. They truly are an inside bird, unless your in a tropical zone.

I read buttons as buttholes.
My eyes are playing tricks on me!
