I set eggs a couple of days ago for the Halloween Hatch-along, so I'm a bit ahead of you. How many are you planning to set?

I am going to set as many as they lay from two days ago until that day.
Hopefully at least 20.

So far right now I have 3 eggs in the turner and 4 eggs in my fridge. I plan to add the 4 fridge eggs too.
Right now I am only averaging 2 eggs a day... It just has to pick up any day now.

Wish I could join you in this hatch along but I'm not ready yet. Just had some chicks (chicken chicks) to hatch last week and the brooder is full.

Yep, when you start collecting eggs to hatch, they seem to slow down. At least mine do.

Are eggs out of the fridge ok to hatch?

I have seen people hatch fridge eggs. This will be my first time trying it.

I have 10 total, one for sure male. I don't know much else yet. Looks like I only have 3 laying so far.
