So far we have 15 hatched, out of 36, a couple of them still working on it.

I do have a question - one of them have curled toes on both feet. It's been 6 hours since it hatched out. Is it gonna affect its quality of life? What do people do in this situation? It's moving awkwardly and hasn't eaten anything yet.

Is it eating now?

No I decided to wait until I start getting more than just two eggs a day.

From the chicks I recently hatched, my little golden one isn't doing quite so good and I figured I'd see if anyone here happened to know anything.

I've been giving him poultry based medicine meant to perk him up. I can get the medicine name once I'm back home, but he's gotten about a milliliter every two days.

There was a bit of internal bleeding and he's a bit more tired than the others but he eats and drinks normally.

What do you mean by internal bleeding?

@Texas Kiki I knew one of my Italian colored Coturnix was male, but I heard him call for the first time today! I had to YouTube search to hear a quail call. He sounded so awful I thought something was wrong with him.

I know the feeling When my roo crows I think it sounds like a fart that's drowning or something..

Mine usually crow when they are separated from or trying to attract females, i.e. in competition with other males. Several months back I didn't have any extra males and each male had their own flock of females; it was quiet and they rarely crowed.
