Yeah, could be. @mixedUPturk double check that one doesn't have red eyes! He looks light even for a white to me.

Mr Robby messaged me again this AM checking my hatch results and now i know why! He included some very special eggs for me one of my chicks is albino!

This thing you said pink Kiki? Mr Robby had me double check this morning and its got a dark dark red pupil!

My albino was an accident. They tend to have vision problems and organ failure (mine is 99% blind and has a disfigured shoulder).

I strongly disagree with anyone breeding them intentionally, but I know at least one person doing it.

Yes and it is not an unhealthy hatchling. He outcrossed and the gene popped up, not like most albinos who are showing up after being interbred. I dont agree w that either. He says hes hatched hundreds of them in the last 4-5 years. He cautions me be careful about strong light even as adults. He just imported from France last winter and this most recent albinism came from that batch. Hes also included pansy project manchurians, lavender manchurian, eggs that had never left his farm from his research dept!

He says this one could be diluted lavander from the Schofield line but one that color with stripes would be lavander manchurian

My understanding is that the health problems are linked to the gene, not from the inbreeding (otherwise his normal siblings would have problems too, eh?).

To each their own....Heckin' questionable decision to me....would never intentionally release those to customers....

Glad your guy isn't showing obvious issues.

Yeah, he's almost certainly a lavender-something, not a silver. Mine had the same blue cast up top and lighter underbelly.

@mixedUPturk There are also a few genes that cause albino coloration. He could be an incomplete, especially if his pupils are just *slightly* red, I think @cosmosue had one pop up too. I do not know if that gene is linked to the same issues as true albinism (def what Casper has).
