You might feel better about JMF knowing i have really talked to Mr Robby Alot, he wasnt just letting albino eggs go to a random customer but rather more so he was surprising someone he knows is capable of handling oddities. He said specifically

"Take care of your little birds I really hooked you up and didn't say anything when you left with the eggs you actually have eggs in there that have never left my farm from my research department - you may have some of the pansy project Manchurian's and also a couple eggs from my recent France import this past winter-enjoy"

He was kind of giddy in person and now i know he was excited to really hook me up

Robbie is super legit. He loves being a crazy quail dude is the vibe I got when I talked to him. I so wish I lived closer so I could meet him. I might take a trip down there next fall to see NO as an adult. Haven't been since before Katrina.

Well, I'm glad @mixedUPturk . Hopefully yours are sparkling examples of health. With how many problems Casper has I would be pisssssssed if someone knowingly tried to give me more without asking first.

I’m sure he was just trying to be nice and figured she would appreciate it, sure he wouldn’t do it to a random customer, and he might not have even known it was albino, I am sure not every bird from the France import albino, so he may not have known either but figured she’d be fine with it and experienced enough. And I’m also sure if any of his albinos has major health problems he wouldn’t have given them away or be breeding them. I know I don’t know this guy but he seems super responsible and like he cares a lot about his stock and his customers so I am sure he wouldn’t knowingly give customers defective birds or even be breeding them in the first place. And definitely wouldn’t be trying to sneakily include the defective ones to get rid of them or rip anyone off or anything. And Mixed seems super excited about it so I’m happy for them and if the bird turns out to have problems, we can worry about that later/deal with it when it comes up. Although the warning is nice just in case it does happen to have something wrong with it but I don’t know that it’s necessary to try to scare them or bash Robbie. I’m sure he would never sell defective birds. And this one may end up being fine.

I'm certainly not trying to bash or scare anyone and I hope none of you think I am. I said multiple times that I hoped these ones were healthy and offered possible explanations as to why they could hopefully not be susceptible to the same issues.

I still think this is the kind of things customers need to be talked to about beforehand and I will stand by that.

Yes he does love his work! Common down! id love to meet up for lunch, but sadly he cant allow tours or anything. So it was only by chance i met him when someone picked up my eggs he came over to get me some more. Mostly we text but sometimes we call and i dont wanna put down the phone, theres so much he can and already has taught me.

The Big Easy has changed alot and i wouldnt be down in The French Quarter after dark around mardi gras or Ever by myself. I was born and raised real close to there though so ive been many many times. Im about an hr an a half west from there and his farm is about another hr west of me.

This wasnt posted for My feelings! i already know where your coming from and we were laughing at eachother since the first post were good girl. He didnt have to tell Me because its JMF and me. Im already over them lol they dont weight 10 gs each

Keep in mind for Months weve been in contact. ive bought 50 eggs twice and both times hes given me 100. We had talked about albinos and if any bird under my watch is going to have a poor quailty of life he knows ill send em off to freezer camp. Hes tried to give me free eggs for my teenager and i had to pretty well put my foot down that i Am Going to pay him. He hadnt Ever let these eggs leave the farm to anyone outside of research facilities. I feel pretty darn special that he has that faith in me, trusting me with some amazing things.

That's 2 reasons I don't assist anymore. Usually they die anyway and if not, they are horribly deformed by being in the shell to long.
