I know, eh? I don't do this with any form of regularity. Both of those books have been on my wishlist for years and I budgeted money specifically for these things.

My 'Avocado plant', that I planted last year, is doing well.

I haven't read the whole section yet, but I'm not sure that "avocado" is a specific enough noun to warrant that.

I don't know. I haven't read the book yet. I will after I am done my work for the day.

...maybe. I consider it money well spent. I take a fierce interest in many different obscure and "dry" areas of study, for which the internet is not a reliable or complete guide. Textbooks remain the only way to get the information I seek. The elevator book I ordered was so uncommon that even interlibrary loan couldn't get it for me.

Believe it or not she actually reads this crap cover to cover LOL so it won’t just sit there. She reads it like a novel.

Here... maybe this is easier. This is one page plus the associated diagram of an overspeed governor patent I've been reading through. I have it scanned already because I found an error in it and was pointing it out to someone. Ignore my scribblings on the margins.

Honestly probably same actually. This one doesn’t seem that bad and not too many words on the page. I read some of that elevator one and it was soooo technical. At least this one is actually English lol
